Group Brief History
To play a vital role in Bangladesh construction’s Quality Assurance Ecotech starts it journey on July 16, 2008 under the title “Ecotech Consultant”. It is a partnership initiative and it got Joint Stock Company Registration on Mar 18, 2013, reg no: P-35398.
In 2008 Ecotech participates an international tender and won its first contract, design check and construction quality assurance of 24(Twenty Four) Multipurpose Cyclone Shelters (MPCS) and 4(Four) Bridges. These projects were in Khulna and Barishal division. Basically these were in remote part of Bagerhat, Potuakhli & Barguna district. These projects were funded by Pacific Command of US Army (PACOM) and managed by United State Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Hawaii district. Economic Relation Department (ERD) of Bangladesh and US Embassy, Dhaka gave local support for successful completion of these projects.
In 2009 Ecotech participate another international tender for Bangladesh and got a 3(Three) year contract for multiple projects. Under this contract Ecotech rendered its service to complete 17 (Seventeen) MPCS at Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, Satkhira and Rajshahi District.
In 2011 Ecotech got another contract for 5(Five) year for Multiple MPCS funded by USAID. From 2012 to 2014 Ecotech successfully handed over another 54(Fifty Four) MPCSs at Khulna, Bagerhat, Rashahi, Kurigram, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Sirajgonj District.
Presently it is working for another 28(Twenty Eight) MPCSs at Patuakhali, Bhola, Netrokona, Sylhet District.
Bangladesh was supported to build Coastal Crisis Management Center (CCMC) at the coastal belt and also in deep forest area of Sunderban. These CCMCs are out station for Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG). These centers improves law and order situation in coastal area with facility to take shelter for many coastal people during Cyclone and other natural disaster time. By this time Ecotech successfully handed over 22(Twenty Two) nos CCMCs at Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar including St. Martins, Bagerhat including Sundarbar, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Barguna, Bhola, Noakhali etc.
Ecotech Quality Assurance Team with their presence, intuition and foresee are engaged to ensure minimal discrepancy/ re-work to get targeted quality project in time at optimum cost.
In recognition of Ecotech’s hard and passionate work, keeping rationality in cost level, advance communication and reporting system this company won the contract of quality assurance work in Mongolia. This is the first Bangladeshi company which get this prestigious work. By multinational adaptability Ecotech cover up initial drawback and now it is running the show with targeted level of performance.
Ecotech is proud partner for construction of Multipurpose Training Facility (MPTF) for Global Peace keepers. Presently this team is supervising and monitoring Two of these facilities, One in Bangladesh at Rajendrapur Cantonment and One in Five Hills at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Rural infrastructure is an important factor for agro based rural community and Ecotech is working to ensure optimum quality of some rural road constructed by LGED (Local Government Engineering Department) at Jessore District. Already 12 km road construction is completed and 11 Km road work is going on. Now work is extended to Jinnedah and Pirojpur District. We are preparing for our next job ….
Ecotech Consultant is helping Ecotech Development Ltd for Designing, Monitoring construction work to ensure minimal wastage and timely completion. By this time this team helps Ecotech Development for their 8(Eight) nos multistoried residential projects out of these 3(Three) nos are completed.
Ecotech Consultant is helping Ecotech Multifoods Ltd for Space planning, designing, fabrication and erection of a modern 4(Four) storied Steel Structure Factory Building having 35000 sft floor area.
